Clearshift Participates in Knesset Law Committee Discussions on Financial Service Industry Regulation Upgrade

- March 20, 2014

At the invitation of the Knesset Law Committee, Clearshift and other leading industry players have been active participants in several Committee hearings and industry meetings aimed at shaping the long-awaited modernization of the 2002 regulation governing licensed Currency Service Providers. This involvement started back in 2009, when Clearshift representatives met with the regulator of the Ministry of Finance and Adv. Paul Landis, current chairman of IMPA (Israel's financial intelligence unit acting in accordance with international rules to combat money laundering).

"We are proud to be included in these hearings and play a role in the formation of important legislation concerning financial services in Israel" said Ari Dobner, Director and CEO of Clearshift. "I believe that this is an indicator of our standing in the financial services market and our commitment to compliance with the highest standards of the law."
